Test Station Design Services

High Performance Test Stations Require Experienced System Designers
Sometimes it is critical that certain, high performance measurements be
made in manufacturing. In these cases, the test station design can be
pivotal. Care must taken in all phases of the design, especially in
grounding, shielding, and switching. Anagon has deep technical
knowledge of electronics instruments and measurement technology,
especially as applied from within complex electronics systems.

We designed the test station above for Tellium Inc., a core Internet,
optical switch manufacturer in West Longbranch, New Jersey. The station
is capable of testing up to six OC48 transceivers in a single pass.
Multi-up test stations such as this are challenging and complicated. In
this instance, the cost of instrumentation dominated the decision to
test several OC48's at once.

Functional Test Station At Yurie Systems In Landover, Maryland
Although we provide test engineering services for the design,
construction, integration, and deployment of professional test
stations, sometimes our clients would prefer to do most of the job
themselves. Every situation is different. We are happy to contribute in
whatever way we can, as long as the end result works well!

The test station above is a relatively inexpensive, benchtop station
using the client's product as part of the test bed. This system (and
several variations of it) provided functional test for the different IO
modules in Yurie's LDR200 Asynchronous Transfer Mode Switch. John
Odell, Director of Yurie's Test Engineering group, was the principal
architect of these stations and one of the finest test engineers we've
ever worked with!

Test Station Design To Best Suit Your Needs!
Anagon test station designs vary depending on the situation. Our
stations are "industrial strength" and based on extensive, practical
experience working with many different contract manufacturers and
clients. We are experts with the leading standard technologies such as
VXI, PXI, IEEE-488, DAQ, RS-232 and PLD Automation (Lattice, XiLinx,
Altera).
